Wanted to make a card for a friend who is crazy about coffee but can’t think of which type of coffee I should buy so decided to just coffee beans on the card and treat my friend a nice meal instead! Okay okay so I didn’t have coffee beans with me so I bought from crushed coffee beans from the cafeteria in my college’s residence for just RM0.50! Hahah!
Back to my room, I played with coffee painting by splashing them on the cardstock and was EXCITED to find out that coffee paint is reactive to water, yayy!! I used the end result as the background of the card.
Stamped the bear from Party Animal stamp set and coloured it. Gave the bear a coffee mug since there is no cup stamps on the stamp set! Watercoloured an edgy thingy that i hand drawn with green tea green and glossy accented the side and poured my crushed coffee beans on it. i then used my wet clean brush and brush the coffee brown in the edgy thingy–>That’s where my bear is standing in front of.
I added some green sequins and tadahh!! My very first coffee project card!
P.S. I recently submitted this card for Anna Kossakovskaya’s CASometry 2 challenge (CHECK IT OUT: http://www.umichka.com/2016/04/30/casometry-challenge-2-make-five/).
