Graduation Card

IMG_20160622_151106

Excited to be playing with my first few distress inks after being comvinced by numerous talented crafters on instagram and youtube (especially Kristina Werner and Jennifer Mcguire Ink), I played with Squeezed Lemonade and Salty Ocean distress inks on my congratulation card i made for my lawyer-to-be cousin!

I inked Squeezed Lemonade on my acrylic block and sprinkled water droplets on it then presses it against my watercolour cardstock. I did the same with the Salty Ocean, and sprinkled some gold inks on my watercolour cardstock!!

If that wasn’t fun enough, i also used Lawn Fawn’s Party Animals stamps set’s bear and transformed the trumpet into a flower wrapping! And of course, a graduation hat from Lawn Fawn’s Hats Off To You stamp set. I used Tim Holts’ alphabet thinlits for my cousin’s nickname.

And the final magic touch—- i added some gold sequin!! Hope you like the card! Have a great day!

P.S. I’m submitting this for Lawnscaping Challenge!😃😃
